WHAT IS KINGDOM CAMP?
For one intentional week, Kingdom Camp becomes our way of reaching our community—opening our arms wide, loving on as many children as possible, and sharing the hope of Jesus with those who may never step inside our classrooms.
During camp, children experience the Gospel through worship, Bible teaching, games, and meaningful relationships. One of the most powerful parts of Kingdom Camp is the one-on-one time, where kids sit with caring adults to talk about what they’ve learned, ask questions, or simply be seen, heard, and encouraged. This is a beautiful opportunity for the children to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior.
For every U.S. volunteer who comes, we partner them with a Zambian volunteer and ten children. Right now, this limits us to serving 200 kids—but with more volunteers, we can reach more hearts.

Who Can Volunteer? Families or Individuals that can love and hug children
Who is This Camp For? Orphan and vulnerable kids from Kafue Christian Academy and other surrounding schools, including school of disabilities. We especially want to connect with communities are unreached for Jesus.
What can I Expect? Off the chart fun- soccer, playing, sharing the Gospel of Jesus and the love of God. Every US volunteer that comes to camp, 10 more children can attend. This is a time of play and healing for these kids that have been through so much. We will also visit the school and have 1 day in a luxury hotel with small safari. Priceless time away to experience God.
Details: No shots required. English spoken. We stay at a lovely hotel 10 minutes from the school and hold camp on the beautiful acreage under the trees at the hotel. We invite 200–300 children.
Cost: Currently Camp trip is $3,600-$3,900pp includes international flight, hotel, food, transportation and supplies - trip is tax deductible. Some partial scholarships are available and fundraising letters are encouraged.
SAFARI with your Family or Some Folks on the Trip:
1. Victoria Falls at Avani or Royal Livingstone Hotel | Royal Livingstone Hotel by Anantara 3 Night Safari includes short in-country flights, hotel at Vic Falls, full day-safari in Botswana, dinner and elephant interaction at Elephant Cafe, sunset cruise Safari, and lunch at the Top of Victoria Falls--ranges from $1900 to $2,150 based double occupancy and hotel choice.
2. Baines River Camp--very nice $2,310/person based on double occupancy. Includes super cool river camp accommodations, food, in-country flights.
When?: Right Before camp OR Right After Camp
Who? Families, Couples, Friends or go with a Psalm 91 group
What can I expect? Experience God’s creation including BIG animals- elephants, giraffe, hippos, lions, zebra, monkeys. Victoria Falls is one of the 7 Wonders of the World. Bucket List.

Anyone 18+ called to GO share the love of Christ! Families, teen & parent, individuals, teams, corporate groups, college students, teachers, medical or social/emotional professionals. Children younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Accommodations are on sight at the beautiful Chita Lodge in Kafue, Zambia
Volunteers are usually partnered and extra cost may incur for those requesting a private room
Zambia is a safe, Christian nation where the people speak English
No shots are required, though volunteers are encouraged to make that decision with their doctor. Preventative malaria medication is recommended.
If you sponsor a child, you will love having a private visit with them and have them in your small group.

Texas Packing Party to Receive Supplies: 3 weeks prior to trip in Galveston or Houston TBA
Most Volunteers will bring 2 large suitcases (50 lbs each) with ministry supplies, 1 large suitcase for personal (50 lbs or less) and 1 carry-on or backpack (13 lbs or less)
In case of medical emergency, Psalm 91 has a 24hr nurse on staff, local hospital relationship and additional hospital options in Lusaka (1.5 hrs away) In addition, Roam Right Travel insurance covers medical evacuation if needed.

1 day of Training in Zambia with our Zambian staff before camp
Volunteers will help host 4-5 days of Kingdom Camp, be a part of community outreach and have time away from the normal routine to experience the miracles of God.
Help lead a small group of 10-12 children with Zambian partners through stations including large group teaching, worship, scripture review/discussion, activities, meet with each child one on one and document their story.
Volunteers will have a Zambian translator/partner
Option for late arrival/early departure, option for incredible add-on Victoria Falls Excursion and Over-the-Top Safari Experience.

Before Camp, we will host 2 days of teacher training. Bring lessons, class management, technology, organizational skills of any kind to teachers of Kafue Christian Academy and teachers from other surrounding schools. Medical professionals will meet with the school nurse prior to the trip to plan how to best assist her and plan a visit/workshop for the local hospital. Social/emotional will meet with Child Protection officers prior to the trip to make a plan of how to best bring training to adults and hands on with children

A Note from Lisa
Hi yall, this is Lisa Matranga, Director of Psalm 91 Ministries. over 25 of our sponsors have met the children they support- would you like to meet the kids? Our family started going to camp in Zambia, Africa in 2004. We were never the same. The presence of the Lord is there in this safe, quiet place. Here, loving the orphan and vulnerable child, the Lord reveals His heart to us and to the kids we serve. We encourage you to pray about coming. If you are a parent, pray about bringing your child/teen to give them a spiritual experience that can profoundly help set the course for their life. Time away from the busyness, time to feel the nearness of Christ, time to play, time to remember the truth, time to experience God’s amazing creation… you may dry the tears of a child… maybe they will dry yours. This year the theme is The Lord’s Prayer. Our hope is that many children will pray this prayer and accept Jesus Christ for the first time, completely changing their lives.
